Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to Lagnabandha (the "Site" / "Platform", operated under Lagnabandha Matrimony, Maharashtra). In order to use the Lagnabandha Site and related services ("Service"), you must register as a member of the Site ("Member") and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Agreement").

If you wish to become a Member, communicate with other Members, and make use of the Service, please read these Terms of Use carefully. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your membership. This Agreement may be modified by Lagnabandha from time to time, effective upon intimation to you as a Member. Whenever there is a material change in the Terms of Use, Lagnabandha will intimate you of such changes. Your continued use of the Site pursuant to such changes will constitute deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age (for females) and 21 years of age (for males), or as prescribed under applicable Indian marriage laws, to register as a member of Lagnabandha or use this Site. Membership to the Site is void where prohibited by law.

Your use of this Site represents and warrants that you have the legal right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all terms and conditions.

This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you use the Site and/or remain a registered Member of Lagnabandha.

• Voluntary Deactivation & Termination: You may deactivate or terminate your profile at any time, for any reason (e.g., after marriage finalization), through your account settings or by contacting customer support in writing. Upon deactivation, your profile is immediately hidden from public searches and recommendation feeds. Unutilized subscription fees or contact credits are non-refundable.
• Administrative Right to Moderate, Suspend & Delete: Lagnabandha actively monitors and reviews user-submitted biodata, photos, and identity documents to maintain community trust. If any profile is discovered to contain fabricated vitals, forged documents, fake or misappropriated photographs, impersonation, commercial solicitations, abusive conduct, or violations of applicable Indian laws or community guidelines, Lagnabandha reserves the absolute and unilateral right to restrict, suspend, or permanently delete the profile forthwith without prior notice. Any termination arising from misconduct or policy breach is strictly non-refundable.
• Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Data Retention: Notwithstanding voluntary account deletion or administrative removal, essential transactional records, audit trails, payment tax invoices, IP timestamps, and verification logs are retained in secure, encrypted archives as mandated by applicable laws (including the Information Technology Act 2000, Intermediary Guidelines Rules 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023) for legal compliance, audit defense, prevention of fraud, dispute resolution, and cooperation with authorized law enforcement agencies.
• Survival of Provisions: Even after membership termination or account deactivation, all clauses governing non-commercial usage, content prohibitions, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing jurisdiction shall survive indefinitely.

The Lagnabandha Site is for the personal use of individual members and genuine families only, and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors. This includes providing links to other commercial websites or marriage agencies.

Organizations, companies, matchmaking agents, and businesses may not become Members of Lagnabandha and should not use the Service for commercial solicitation. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Site, including unauthorized framing of, scraping, or deep-linking to the Site, will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.

You agree to adhere to the following communication and conduct standards:

• You may not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other Members to buy or sell products or services through the Service.
• You will not transmit chain letters, promotional broadcast messages, or junk email to other Members.
• It is a violation of this Agreement to use any information obtained from the Service in order to harass, abuse, stalk, or harm another person, or to contact, advertise to, or solicit any Member without their explicit consent.
• Quota & Contact Caps: To protect our Members from spam, abuse, and bulk data harvesting, Lagnabandha reserves the right to restrict the number of communications, profile contact views, and interest responses that a Member may send in any 24-hour or 30-day period.
• You will not send any messages that are obscene, lewd, licentious, defamatory, promote hatred, or are racially or culturally abusive. Transmission of any such messages constitutes an immediate material breach, entitling Lagnabandha to terminate your membership forthwith.
• You may not use any automated processes, including IRC Bots, EXEs, CGI scripts, scrapers, crawlers, or headless browsers to view content, harvest phone numbers, or interact with Lagnabandha.

Lagnabandha owns and retains all proprietary intellectual property rights in the Site and Service. You are solely responsible for the Content (photos, text, biodata, messages) that you publish or transmit. Below are the mandatory 25 operational rules and prohibited content guidelines:

Lagnabandha Matrimony provides 3 transparent tiers governed by the following quota allocations:

Refund & Renewal Policy: All subscription fees paid are non-refundable once contact reveal credits or premium capabilities are activated. We strictly operate on a voluntary renewal basis - we do not store auto-debit mandates or secretly charge your card/UPI upon plan expiry.

You may not post, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted material or trademarks without obtaining prior written consent from the owner. If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied in a manner constituting infringement, please submit a written takedown notice containing:

• Physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright owner.
• Description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• URL location of the infringing material on the Lagnabandha platform.
• Your complete contact details (address, telephone, and email).
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate.

Lagnabandha is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on the Site, whether caused by users visiting the Site, Members, or by any equipment or programming associated with the Service.

Lagnabandha assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to member communications. The exchange of profiles through Lagnabandha should not in any way be construed as an endorsement or guarantee by Lagnabandha.

Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will Lagnabandha be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits arising from your use of the Site or Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Lagnabandha's liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of action, will at all times be strictly limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Lagnabandha for the active membership Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lagnabandha, its subsidiaries, directors, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement, or arising from a breach of these Terms of Use, or any breach of your representations and warranties.
